29 июня 2010 года я приехала в студию Андрея Гончаренко для съемки портфолио. 5 часов работы в студии, после чего Андрей предложил мне модную фотосессию для нового номера FOTYMODY, согласовав все с агентством. И я согласилась! Я понятия не имела, как все будет происходить, знала только, что тема номера ВОДА и что это в раздел Nude. Ну, и исходя из этого, меня должны были обливать водой. В 19.00 в той же студии, точнее на кухне, меня ждали фотограф Оля с фотоаппаратом и стилист с ведром воды. Я позировала возле стены, выложенной черным кафелем, Оля фотографировала, Батарейкин на раз-два-три поливал меня водой из чашки или из миски. Обещали, что вода будет теплой, но то ли бойлер забыли включить, то ли ЖЕК пошутил и отключил горячую воду. Но, я не жалуюсь, потому как в 35 градусную жару большая половина киевлян мечтает, чтобы на них вылили ведерко-второе прохладной воды. Но ребята, конечно же, волновались, чтобы я не простудилась. Когда вода попадала на руки, спину, ноги это было просто весело, а вот когда снимали лицо – мне пришлось не один литр воды выпить, и поглощала я ее не только через рот, но и через нос тоже Обезвоживание моему организму в тот день не грозило !  На все про все ушло 1,5 часа. Но за столь короткое время, я получила ТАКОЙ заряд положительных эмоций!!!! Эта съемка дала мне возможность посмотреть на себя немножко по-другому. Я поняла, что готова к экспериментам и хочу экспериментировать!!!!! Самое главное, что нужно принести с собой на съемку – это хорошее настроение, готовность делать то, что просит тебя фотограф и, конечно же, немножко импровизации. А Оле Кушик и Батарейкину ОГРОМНОЕ СПАСИБИЩЕ за то, что дали мне возможность хоть на 1,5 часа почувствовать мою причастность к fashion photo-индустрии (если можно так сказать)».

On June 29, 2010 I entered the studio of Andriy Goncharenko for a portfolio shooting. After 5 hours of work in the studio Andriy invited me to make a fashionable shooting for a new issue of FotyMody and made an agreement with agency. And I agreed! I had no idea how would everything be except the subject of issue – “water”, and that it is for a Nude column. Due to this I was going to be swilled. At 19 p.m. in this studio and to be more exact in the kitchen photographer Olya with camera and stylist with a bucket of water were waiting for me I was posing near the wall paved with black tiles, Olya shut and Batareikin was pouring water at me on the count of three from the cup or basin. They promised that water would be warm but they whether forgot to switch the boiler on or Housing Department had played a joke But I don’t complain because in 35 C heat the most part of Kiev citizens dreams to be watered with a basin or two of cold water. But of course guys worried about me because I could get cold. When they poured water on my hands, back, legs it was just fun but when we shut my face they had to pour much water on me so I have swallowed it not only through mouth but also trough my nose That day my body didn’t face the evaporation! It took one and a half hour. Over this short period of time I felt such an energy boost! This shooting gave me a chance to look at myself from a bit different point of view. I understood that I am ready and want to experiment! The most important thing that you need to bring with you at the shooting is a good mood, readiness to do what the photographer will ask you to, and some improvisation, of course. Great thanks to Olya Kushik and Batareikin for an opportunity to feel belonging to fashion photo industry during this one and a half hour!

Темой четвертого номера FotyMody была “вода”, поэтому первая мысль, которая пришла мне в голову – это сделать подводную фотосъемку. За эту идею ухватился и журнал, ведь имея на тот момент уже 10 фотосессий, ни одно подводной не было. Изначально планировался бассейн, хорошо освещенный, со всеми удобствами, в который должна была опуститься модель. В конце концов, поиски места локации закончились, необходимый фотоаппарат был найден, но вода в бассейне оказалась настолько холодной, что попросту сковывала движения модели. Кроме того, была утрачена возможность сделать необходимое количество кадров. В связи с моим скорым отъездом в Крым, было принято совместное с редакцией FotyMody решение перенести и место съемки. Задача осталась прежней, вот только пути ее реализации крайне изменились. Здесь невозможно было найти ни бассейн, ни подходящие условия для съемки. Пришлось задействовать то, что было рядом, а именно – Черное море. Найти дикий пляж, где не было бы ни души, в разгар пляжного сезона – не самое благодарное занятие. Поэтому работать приходилось только в утренние часы. Тяжело было спланировать съемку, так как благоприятность условий зависела только от погоды. Утром мы вставали, выезжали к месту предполагаемой съемки и не знали, что нас ждет: будет ли там солнечно или облачно, будет ли море спокойным или волнующимся, а вдруг там уже/еще есть отдыхающие. Но, несмотря на все эти заморочки, мы сумели получить удовольствие от процесса фотосъемки и достичь результата. Theme of the fourth issue of FotyMody was “water” and my first idea was to make an underwater shooting. Magazine caught this idea too because having ten finished shootings at that moment there was no underwater. Initially we planned to shoot in a pool with good lighting and comfort and model was to get down in it. In the end the search of location was finished the camera was found but the water in the pool was so cold that it fettered the models moves. Besides that an opportunity to make a necessary amount of pictures was failed. Because of my quick leaving to Crimea the FotyMody editorial stuff and I have made a decision to transfer a place of shooting. The task was the same but thy ways of its realization had changed a lot. It was impossible to find a pool or suitable location here. So we had to use what was within reach – the Black sea. To find a wild beach where would be no-one in the height of the season was a thankless job. So we had to work only in the early morning. It was difficult to plan the shooting because everything depended on weather. We got up in the morning and went to a probable place for shooting and didn’t even know what is waiting for us: would it be sunny or cloudy, would the sea be calm or would run high, would there be any vacationers or not. But in spite of all the tsuris we could get the satisfaction from the shooting process and had achieved the result. I would like to thank my models who almost lived with me under water! Для нашей модели перспектива провести прекрасный летний день разъезжая по городу на машине и дурачась с разнообразными водяными игрушками, например водяными пистолетами, мыльными пузырьками и просто бутылками с водою, звучала как развлечение! Добавив немного яркого мейкапа, захватив с собою большой гардероб (включая пару великолепных туфелек от Farylrobin) и будучи дружной командой, мы были готовы взяться за наше задание запечатлеть веселые водные процедуры в Нью-Йорке для FotyMody!
Первой нашей остановкой были Ист-Виллидж и Нижний Ист-Сайд, два района известные своим ярким настенными рисунками…идеальный непринужденный элемент для нашей игривой съемки. Великая модель и вправду должна быть великой актрисой, чтоб изобразить взгляд и чувство, которое ты хочешь передать. Кеитлин на самом деле такая.
Одной из следующих остановок в тот день был известный небоскреб «Утюг». Обычно район перед зданием и соседний Медисон-парк полны работников из окружающих его зданий и туристов. Это могло осложнить нашу задачу найти правильный угол для съемки без посторонних глаз. В нашем случае это была большая клумба с неимоверным количеством цветов и других растений.
Целью этого нашего кадра было сфотографировать как Кеитлин стильно и причудливо поливает растения. Для меня было очень важно, чтобы она поливала их конкретно из лейки, чтобы на фото это выглядело натурально, непринужденно. Наша бригада внимательно следила за тем, чтобы каждый раз наполнять лейку, учитывая тот факт что мы вынуждены были каждый раз относить тяжелые бутыли с водой к нашей машине, если мы их не использовали. Это было большим стимулом!
Пока Кеитлин поливала и поливала, я продолжал фотографировать, стараясь запечатлеть её игривую манеру возделывания клумбы. И это продолжалось до тех пор, пока команда не заметила струю воды вытекающую из больших горшков! Упс! На сегодня этим цветочкам хватит!
В довершение съемки мы дали Кеитлин какой-то сумасшедший водяной пистолет и сказали, что ей нужно выбегать с ним из метро. Нам было чрезвычайно интересно увидеть, как отреагируют на это двое полицейских стоящих в нескольких шагах от нас, но я думаю, им было интереснее не то, что там было водяное оружие, а то, что красивая девушка забавляется с водными игрушками! Мне и самому нравилось за этим наблюдать, если честно! Хочу сказать огромное спасибо Кеитлин за её неимоверное выступление и своей команде: Astrid Brucker, Ania Kanigowska и Monet Moon за то, что сделали её еще более красивой. For our model Caitlin, the prospect of spending a beautiful summer day driving around the city and playing with a variety of water toys such as squirt guns, bubbles and water bottles sounded like a fun shoot! Add some colorful makeup, a great wardrobe (including some fabulous Farylrobin shoes) and a friendly crew and we were set to tackle our assignment of capturing water fun in New York City for Foty Mody!
Our first stops were in the East Village and Lower East Side, two areas known for their funky wall art…perfect for adding a light-hearted element to our playful shoot. A great model truly needs to be a great actress, to portray the look and feel that you want to convey. Caitlin is a natural at this. She fits in so convincingly with her surroundings, especially her flirtatious interaction with the «I love NY» character, whether making eye contact with him or offering him a drink.
Another of our stops that day was the famous Flatiron building. On a typical day, the areas in front of the building and the adjacent Madison Square Park are filled with residents and workers from the surrounding area as well as hundreds of tourists. This can present some challenges in finding a spot that didn’t include curious onlookers while offering the right shooting angle and in this case, a large planter filled with a variety of flowers and other plants.
Our goal with this particular shot was to have Caitlin stylishly and whimsically watering the plants. It was important for me to actually have her pouring the water from the watering can to make the images look very natural, not forced. Our crew was very attentive in making sure to fill the watering can each time it was emptied, especially given the fact that we would have to carry the heavy water jugs back to our vehicle several blocks away if we didn’t use them. That was incentive enough!
As Caitlin poured and poured, I continued to shoot away, capturing her playful gardening habits. That is, until the crew noticed that there was water beginning to leak out the bottom of the very large pots! Oops! Enough water for those plants for the day!
We wrapped up the shoot, with some furious squirt gun shooting as Caitlin made her «escape» out of the subway station. We were initially a bit concerned as to how the two New York City traffic policemen positioned just several feet away would react to toy guns at a subway station, but I think they were more interested in watching a pretty girl have fun playing with her water toys! Frankly, I was, too! Thanks to Caitlin for her terrific performances and my wonderful crew: Astrid Brucker, Ania Kanigowska and Monet Moon for making her even more beautiful.
